According to what has been reported by Sky Sport journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, today is the deciding day in the future of Lazio sporting director Igli Tare. The Albanian SD has been instrumental to the Biancocelesti’s successes in the transfer market in recent years; helping turn the side into a consistent European qualifier, despite the modest budget he has been given.
Tare is wanted by AC Milan and the Rossoneri want to make the Albanian their sporting director; as they wished to make Simone Inzaghi their head coach. Inzaghi turned down the club and Claudio Lotito is eager to keep hold of Tare too. The reports suggest that Lotito has presented Tare with a new contract offer, as he did Inzaghi, in an attempt to keep him on.
Tare reportedly is torn between taking on a new challenge with a bigger budget at Milan or to stick with the club where he has performed well so far and that have made him the director he is today.
