Venezuelan starlet Jan Hurtado has been linked with a move away from his current club, Argentine Premier Division side Gimnasia y Esgrima. Reports from Brazilian journalist Marce Palacios suggest that Lazio, alongside Milan and Sampdoria, are chasing the 19-year-old forward. Palacios suggests that Lazio are ready to put a figure of around €9m on the table in their attempts to sign Hurtado.
However, with negotiations still ongoing with Club Brugge over Wesley Moraes, it is likely that Jan Hurtado will be a back-up or alternative option to the Brazilian forward.
Hurtado also made his debut for the Venezuelan national side this year, coming on as an 89th minute substitute in a match against Argentina in March.
