This Lazio transfer window so far has been same-old same-old really; with nearly all of the linked names having been linked with the club in prior years. This time it is Schalke 04 defender Matija Nastasic who is being linked, once again, with a switch to Lazio. The Serbian defender, according to Radiosei, has attracted the interest of Lazio sporting director Igli Tare, who wishes to bring the Serbian to the Italian capital.
Matija Nastasic would likely cost in the region of €15m and would, alongside, Francesco Acerbi and Luiz Felipe, complete a strong back-three as Simone Inzaghi prepares for the next Serie A season.
Nastasic, formerly of Fiorentina and Manchester City, is a talented defender with lots of top level experience but perhaps does not fit the typical MO of Tare and the rest of the Biancocelesti management.
