According to what has been reported by Il Corriere dello Sport, Lazio president Claudio Lotito has offered sporting director Igli Tare a new contract; as he attempts to keep the Albanian SD on at the club, amid interest from fellow Serie A side AC Milan. Milan are going through somewhat of a backroom revolution and see Lazio’s transfer guru as the go-to man for their empty role.
However, Lazio and Lotito are not willing to let go of Tare easily; the Lazio president having offered Tare a new deal. Tare only signed his last contract in November 2018 but Lotito is prepared to offer the Albanian more money and another year on his contract as he attempts to secure his right-hand man.
Tare is reportedly to make his decision within the coming days.
