Kevin Vogt: Lazio interested in Hoffenheim captain

Lazio continue to search for a central defensive addition to strengthen the side’s back line ahead of the start of the 2019/20 season. According to what has been reported by Radiosei, Lazio’s search has brought them to the attention of TSG Hoffenheim captain Kevin Vogt. The 27-year-old German centre-back has been a solid player for the Bundesliga outfit but, as the club have missed out on European football, he could be convinced to leave.

Reportedly, Igli Tare is a big fan of Kevin Vogt due to his versatility and ability to play in a number of different central defensive positions, as well as in the defensive midfield just in front of the back line. The towering German turns 28 in September and fits the typical profile of the Albanian sporting director.

Vogt joins a long list of defensive targets, alongside Murillo, Biraschi, Bruno Viana and Izzo.
