In the past weeks, rumours linking Malaga winger Jony with a move to Lazio have grown and grown. The Biancocelesti see the Spaniard as an ideal player to build squad depth and provide Simone Inzaghi with the valuable option to switch up his formation if need be.
According to what has been reported by LaLazioSiamoNoi, Lazio are now edging closer to a deal for the Spanish winger. Originally, it was thought that the Biancocelesti would have to pay a fee of over six million euros but now, after negotiations, it appears a deal will be struck in the region of 4.5 million euros with an addition bonus of an undisclosed amount.
Jony has expressed his desire to move to Italy and Malaga and Lazio will attempt to come to an agreement in the coming days that could see the Spaniard made Lotito and Tare’s first signing of the summer transfer window.
