Manuel Lazzari is one of the most wanted names in Serie A at the moment; with Lazio, as well as Inter and Napoli, said to be interested in the SPAL wing-back. Lazzari has been impressive over the past year and is certainly deserving of the interest.
Lazio, however, have a plan up their sleeve as they attempt to beat Inter and Napoli to the signing; using Alessandro Murgia as a potential counterpart. Murgia spent the 2018/19 season on loan at SPAL and was an important part of the team; with Lazio ready to use the midfielder to sweeten the deal for Lazzari.
Inter and Napoli will remain in pursuit of Lazzari and would, on paper, appear more likely due to their place in the Champions League – yet it would be too soon to rule Lazio out.
