Milinkovic-Savic: Leonardo wants to bring Lazio midfielder to PSG

According to what has been reported by CalcioMercato.com, PSG may be about to re-enter the race to sign Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. PSG were linked with the Serbian last summer but eventually the midfielder stayed in Rome. However, this summer it was thought that Juventus were leading the pack, and they seemingly were, but now they face competition from the Parisien side yet again.

This comes as sporting director Leonardo prepares to return to the Ligue 1 club. The Brazilian director has spent some time in Serie A with AC Milan; before resigning from his role at the end of the 2018/19 season. Now it appears as though Leonardo would like to use his experience in Serie A to his advantage with the spending power of PSG; looking at the Lazio man as a potential marquee signing for the summer, alongside Dutch defender Matthijs de Ligt who is expected to sign from Ajax.
