According to what has been reported by Portuguese source TVI24, Benfica have contacted Lazio about the availability of their Portuguese starlet, Pedro Neto. Neto has been in Rome for two years, after signing for Lazio on a two-year loan with an obligation to buy; which will make the starlet’s stay at Lazio a permanent one this summer.
However, Benfica appear interested in the highly talented young player. Lazio are determined to keep the player but the problem arises with Neto’s agent, Jorge Mendes, who is determined, as per the Portuguese reports, to find the youngster a club where he will play with more consistency and be able to make a name for himself in the team.
