Adolfo Gaich: Roma Join Lazio in Race for San Lorenzo Striker

According to Italian news outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi, Roma have joined Lazio the race to sign San Lorenzo striker Adolfo Julián Gaich.

Simply referred to as Adolfo Gaich, the Biancocelesti first showed interest in the youngster in the summer of 2018. Sporting Director Igli Tare was present for the club’s away match to Club Atlético Aldosivi to scout the player, where Gaich played 74′ and scored the second goal for the visitors in a 2-2 draw. While it was presumed that the club would make a push to sign the player in the January Transfer Window, nothing occurred; until now.

As further reported by the news outlet, the player recently landed at the Fiumicino airport along with his agent Pablo Caro. This is to meet with representatives from both Roman clubs in the upcoming days.

Gaich has a contract expiring in 2021 and he is also waiting for an EU passport. He wants to make the move to a European side, and Italy and the Serie A seems to be where his heart is set.

In addition to Lazio and Roma, Bologna, Inter, and Milan have also expressed interest to sign the player, who is valued at a fee close to €10 million by San Lorenzo.
