Albian Ajeti: Swiss starlet on Lazio’s summer wish-list

This morning, LaLazioSiamoNoi have named a number of transfer targets that Lazio have identified to fill the role of vice-Immobile after missing out on Brazilian striker Wesley Moraes; who opted to join Premier League side Aston Villa this week. The latest name is that of Swiss forward Albian Ajeti.

Ajeti, 22, plays for Swiss club FC Basel and the Swiss-Albanian forward scored 14 goals and assisted a further 8 in 32 Swiss Super League games last season.

Ajeti is part Albanian and therefore it is believed that this is the reason why Igli Tare has reportedly decided on Ajeti as a possible solution to the vice-Immobile conundrum. TransferMarkt value the forward at €7m and therefore he would fetch an expected fee of around €12-€13m plus if he is to leave Basel this summer.
