Lazio midfielder Luis Alberto has been strongly linked with a move abroad in the past few weeks; with suggestions that Monchi and Julen Lopetegui are interested in bringing the Spaniard back to his former club Sevilla.
However, as has been reported by Radiosei this morning, Alberto’s agents have, in fact, confirmed that their client will be staying in Rome and will not be moving clubs. This will come as a reassurance to the Biancocelesti, who view the Spanish playmaker as an important asset and have done since his arrival.
Lazio’s 40-50 million euro wall will have done something to quell Andalusian interest in the player and it is now important to build the squad around the important players who are staying.
