Lazio president Claudio Lotito has given an interview to the Gazzetta dello Sport, in which he discussed several topics, starting with why club sporting director Igli Tare stayed at the club instead of moving to Milan: “Right now Lazio is a more structured company than the Rossoneri. And then the work he has to do here will always be greater.”

Speaking on the future of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, who has been a reported target of PSG and Juventus, Lotito said that “At Lazio we keep only those who have the pleasure of staying.” Lotito also underlined the fact that Milinkovic-Savic was awarded the Serie A best midfielder of the year; suggesting that he will try and fetch a high-price for the Serbian. Similarly, Lotito confirmed that he considered Luis Alberto as indispensable to the club.
