According to what has been reported by TuttoMercatoWeb, Arsenal have joined Lazio and several other Serie A clubs in pursuit of Torino centre-back Armando Izzo.
Izzo, 27, had a fantastic season in Turin and the Naples-born centre-back would be a great addition for the Lazio backline. However, TMW suggest that his agent, Paolo Palermo, is in London, to discuss a deal with the North London club.
The Italian would likely not come cheap, however, with Torino only keen on letting the defender leave if they get an offer worth their while; especially as the Turin-based club look to be entering next season’s UEFA Europa League after AC Milan face a ban from the competition at their request.
