According to what has been reported by Tuttomercatoweb (via Radiosei) Lazio head coach Simone Inzaghi has his sights set of SPAL wing-back Manuel Lazzari as an absolute must-sign player for the Biancocelesti transfer window.
The reports suggest that Inzaghi considers the signing of Lazzari akin to that of Francesco Acerbi last year; a deal which worked out very well for Lazio. Acerbi filled the void left by Stefan de Vrij and did it with an incredible amount of confidence and leadership at the back.
Now, Lazio must work on a deal to sign Lazzari but it should be easier once the club confirm the departures of Pedro Neto and Bruno Jordao, who look set to join Benfica in a deal worth €20m; freeing up the funds for Lazio to start making moves on the market.
