Just two years after the Portuguese duo signed for Lazio on loans with obligations to buy, Pedro Neto and Bruno Jordao look just one step away from the confirmation of their Lazio exits. Portuguese newspaper A Bola suggest that a deal has been agreed to send the duo to Benfica for a reported fee of €20m.
A Bola suggest that the deal is just one step away now and that, after the players have returned from holiday; the duo now set to take their medicals with the Liga NOS side and complete their move in the next week.
In what appears to be a strange move, it can only be hoped that Lazio reinvest this money promptly in order to strengthen the side ahead of next season – otherwise it will pose the question as to why the high potential youngsters are being sold.
