Lazio are interested in signing Gustavo Cipriano and have been for the past year. The defender’s agent has signalled that he is keen on a move to Lazio and all that remains is that the two teams, Lazio and Santos FC, can strike a deal to bring the Ital-Brazilian to Rome.
Lazio were originally interested in a loan formula, making an offer of a two-year loan with an option to buy, according to what was reported in Brazil. However, Santos have, as per further reports from Brazil (via LaLazioSiamoNoi), rejected this offer – with the club seeing a two-year loan as necessary and preferring the loan duration to be just one year.
