As reported by Alfredo Pedulla, Tiago Casasola could return to Salernitana this season thanks to the desire of Gian Piero Ventura. If this end up to be true, the Argentine footballer would thus be completing his second consecutive loan spell in Campania, following a six-month loan in the second half of the 2018/19 season; Lazio acquired the player outright in January of 2019. As it stands, however, the Biancocelesti are set to give Casasola an opportunity in their summer preseason at Auronzo di Cadore. If he convinces Inzaghi, he will likely remain in Rome, but Ventura is insisting – he wants the player to stay with the Granata for this season. For this reason, Claudio Lotito will have to make a decision soon to support (or not support) the newly asigned manager of the club he is a part owner of.
