Orman: “We need to make an acquisition for the left flank”

The Lazio transfer market is now working towards the phase dedicated to the ‘extras’. Among these individuals is Riza Durmisi, who is sought by Besiktas in Turkey, but would a move to Marseille in France. The Turkish club has not yet given up on the possibiity of bringing him to the Super Lig – as stated in reports – confirmed by re-elected President Fikret Orman:

“Adriano has left our team, so we’ll have to make an acquisition for the left flank. We don’t know when it will happen yet – if certain conditions meet our requests, we will do it very soon.”

In this last sentence there seems to be a reference to the Biancocelesti’s Danish international fullback. A player who was acquired last summer from Real Betis in hopes to be Senad Lulic’s replacement, it has not worked out for the 25-year-old – injuries and average performances kept him sidelined. In addition, with the signing of Jony Rodriguez and Jordan Lukaku returning from injury, it looks as if it is just a matter of time before he moves on with him being the fourth option to manager Simone Inzaghi.
