Wallace Moving Closer to Wolverhampton Wanderers

A day many Laziali have been waiting for may be sooner than we think as Wallace is getting closer to a move to Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers. His agent, Jorge Mendes, is very involved with bringing players over to Wolves and will have a huge part to play in helping the Brazilian escape Rome after falling out with many fans in Lazio’s last Serie A match with Atalanta.

According to LaLazioSiamoNoi, the English side are prepared to complete a €1 million loan with an option to buy for €6 million, but Claudio Lotito would prefer it was an obligation to buy. Wolves have contacted Wallace and agreed to personal terms while the defender has even begun following the club on Instagram.

Wallace was purchased in 2016 from Braga for €8 million, so this move would potentially only result in a €1 million loss on a player who has drastically declined in form. With the arrival of Denis Vavro and the imminent promotion of Nicolo Armini to the first team, there is even less space for the 24-year-old and a move away would be best for all parties.
