France Football proposes Koscielny to Lazio

A transfer that has the potential to become real, despite his high wages. After the departures of Aaron Ramsey and Stephan Lichtsteiner, Arsenal are also ready to see Laurent Koscielny move on.

The French defender – who has been in England since 2010 – destroyed his relationship with the Gunners after refusing to travel to the US for their preseason tour. Trying to force a change, according to the latest rumors, the 33-year-old is said to have reached a contractual agreement to return home to the ranks of Stade Rennais F.C. However, this operation that has not yet been completed given that the English club wants to assert themselves: Koscielny is under contract until June 2020 and therefore they are asking for €10 million for the player.

As the rumors begin to pile up surrounding his future, popular French magazine France Football wanted to propose various destinations for Laurent. Among the options which are included are Lazio and Rome in Italy, that would allow him to compete in the Serie A.

“Laurent Koscielny would have no trouble playing in the Serie A. Although it would be very difficult to slip into the ranks of Juventus, Napoli, or Inter, the Frenchman could very well have fun on either of the two sides from Rome.

In Roma or Lazio, Laurent would find surely happiness and well-being. Roma would like to replace Kostas Manolas, Lazio would like to replace Stefan de Vrij.

He would form a terrific partnership with recently prchased Gianluca Mancini in defense, while he could satisfy the ambitions of Simone Inzaghi, looking for another rare gem.”
