After Lazio’s preseason in Auronzo, there should be no doubt about the third choice goalkeeper for the Biancocelesti. Behind Thomas Strakosha and Silvio Proto, again it will be Guido Guerrieri to fill that role. The 23-year-old Roman keeper is destined to remain with the Biancocelesti and fill one of the four requirements for home grown players in the first team squad. The fight for the role was between Guerrieri and Marius Adamonis, who both featured in the preseason training camp, but after impressive games against Pordenone and Virtus Entella, it seems that Simone Inzaghi has made his mind up.

As reported by Radiosei, it will now be necessary to find a club for Adamonis, after having returned from his loan spell at Casertana. There are a few clubs already interested in him, such as Livorno and Juve Stabia, as well as Lega Pro clubs Teramo and Catanzaro. His future will be decided in the coming days. Lazio believe in the 22-year-old Lithuanian and have him under contract until 2022, so more development on loan could lead to Adamonis finding himself in the first team after next season.
