However, the 24-year-old player from Nantes has several parties interested, and they first need to offload Giovanni Simeone before they can bolster their attack. This is why, in recent weeks, Lazio’s Milan Badelj – a former player of the Tuscan side – could be set to make a return.
Le Aquile are connected to Simeone through his father Diego – who played with the Biancocelesti – and are reportedly pushing for a move to give him a new start in the Capital. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, this creates a possibility that Simeone could be offered in exchange for Badelj, in addition to a cash sum.
