After the sale of Pedro Neto and Bruno Jordao to Premier League outfit Wolverhampton Wanderers last week, the track remains well and truly open between Lazio and the Midlands club. Thanks to the influence of Jorge Mendes, the current hypothesis involves sending Lazio’s Brazilian centre-back Wallace to the Premier League club.
In the past 12 hours, talks have accelerated between the two clubs; in part thanks to the influence of Mendes. LaLazioSiamoNoi report that the Premier League side are ready to offer Lazio a deal worth €5m whilst the Biancocelesti want two million more at least to complete the signing. Reportedly, however, Benfica, Besiktas and Monaco have also expressed an interest in the transfer listed Lazio centre-back.
