Felipe Caicedo is on the market, but Director of Sports Igli Tare will not let the 30-year-old striker go for cheaper than he requires. Tare has set the Ecuadorian’s price at €8m euros, despite a few clubs offering €5m for the player. Despite having only one year left on his contract, Tare wants to make sure that Caicedo isn’t sold below his value and will only sell the striker on his terms.
Caicedo has had a strange summer, first looking likely to leave, then likely to resign and now in a state of unknown, with his future hanging in the balance over the final few weeks of the transfer window.
