This summer it was rumoured that if Sergej Milinkovic-Savic leaves Lazio he would be replaced by Turkish midfielder Yusuf Yazici. In recent weeks Lille OSC have shown a strong interest in the 22-year-old and will look to beat the Biancocelesti to his signature.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Simone Inzaghi is not as interested in finding a direct replacement for the Serbian star but rather is looking for a physical and strong midfielder. This has manifested itself in the rumoured interest in Crystal Palace’s Luka Milivojevic. However, the Premier League transfer window closes on August 8th so a move for the Serbian is looking unlikely but this highlights the type of midfielder Inzaghi is looking for.
Lazio are also still interested in acquiring another striker, preferably in the mold of Fernando Llorente, but it does not necessarily have to be the Spaniard that is brought in. With only 18 days remaining in the Serie A transfer window Igli Tare still has some work to be done in fleshing out the squad.
