Lazio midfielder Valon Berisha has given an interview to Lazio Style Channel ahead of the upcoming season, discussing his personal aims and ambitions as he hopes for a less injury-ridden second season in Biancocelesti.
“It was a good match for the whole team, it was important to win. We trained well in Marienfeld. We have closed the preparation at our best, it is important for the mind: now two days of rest are waiting for us. I’m happy here, I’ve been out for six months, I’ve played 45 minutes against Al-Shabab and 15 minutes today. For me it is important to play minutes, I hope this can be a positive season for me. The competition helps – everyone wants to play. I played every mini-match in Marienfeld and for me this is an element of a certain value. Winning at Sampdoria and then the derby would be precious for everyone: the team, the club and the fans.”
