Mario Sconcerti, an Italian journalist who writes for the Corriere della Sera, spoke of Lazio’s chances of success next season. Here are his words from his interview with Calciomercato.com:
“If Lazio can keep Milinkovic-Savic, they would have a team no less than Inter and Napoli. Apart from him and Immobile, who know how to win games on their own, Lazio have been a balanced team for years: they once suffered the delays of Luis Alberto and the whims of Milinkovic-Savic. Now they are unexpectedly in the best team conditions: they have no controversy and technical gaps. They didn’t reinforce themselves, but they did perfect themselves. And if Correa’s goal share increases, Lazio will end up directly behind Juve, allowing them to put the Bianconeri in trouble: they’re the most modern team there is at the moment”.
