Vukić: “Partizan has accepted Lazio’s offer for Pavlović”

A few days ago, The Laziali reported that Lazio had made an offer to Partizan for Strahinja Pavlović. A deal that satisifed the Serbian side, yesterday, The Laziali reported that the Biancocelesti’s offer was accepted: €5.5 million and the youngster would remain at the club on loan until the end of the 2019/20 season. As the clubs sort out the final details, the player’s agent Zvonimir Vukićspoke to confirm the validity of the rumours.

“Lazio presented their offer yesterday, and Partizan accepted it. Strahinja Pavlović, whom I represent, has nothing against joining the Roman club.

We had several options – even some that were more advantageous concerning the economic terms – but we agreed together, after considering all aspects, to accept the Biancocelesti’s offer and interest.

Lazio is a top club that has everything a young player needs to complete their growth path, there is no doubt about this. And Strahinja loves Italy, as well as the Serie A. This is why we believe that this choice will be a real success.

It is also very important, both for the Partizan and for the boy, that Lazio has decided to leave him on loan to the Bianconeri for the rest of the season. It should not be forgotten that Pavlovic has only just become a member of Partizan’s first team for a few months, and needs to accumulate more experience in the first team.

This is why it is very important for the club to be able to qualify for the Europa League group stage, which is another aspect to consider.”
