Pavlović: “There are no problems, I’ll be a Lazio player”

Strahinja Pavlović is in the final stages of becoming a new player of Lazio. Although both clubs had come to an agreement earlier last week, there was a setback reportedly caused by medical issues a few days ago when the center-back took his medicals in Italy. However, all seems to have now been solved at the Paideia Clinic, according to news outlet Telegraf. The medical staff of Lazio have given the green light to the player’s health and the Biancocelesti will now communicate with Partizan once more before officially announcing the deal. Speaking to reporters, Pavlović commented on the events that have transpired over the past week or so.

“Thank you for being interested, but everything went well from the beginning. There were no problems. Now I’m focused on tomorrow’s Europa League match (Partizan will challenge Molde in the preliminary rounds) because we want to get to the group stage. Then, Friday, I will return to Rome to complete the last bureaucratic formalities with Lazio. Once confirmed, I will return to Serbia and give my all for my teammates and for Partizan until the season is finished.”
