Luis Alberto, currently on International Duty with the Spain National Team, has added fuel to the fire in relation to a potential move back to his homeland; the 27-year-old midfielder has stated that a move to Barcelona would be too hard to turn down.
“My return to La Liga? It’s nice that we talk about it because it means I’m doing well… But there has never been the possibility that I could leave Lazio. If Barcelona were to come knocking on my door, I’d love to play with them.”
Lazio’s ‘Magician’ has already played for the Catalan side. He scored 11 goals for the the Barcelona B team whilst on loan from Sevilla in the 2012/13 season. With one goal and five assists to his name – in the first seven matches in Serie A this campaign – it will be hard for the Biancocelesti to keep a hold of him if he continues to perform.
