Strahinja Pavlović: “Lazio? I Have a Contract with Partizan…”

Strahinja Pavlović was one of Lazio’s soap operas in the past Summer Transfer Window. 18 years of age, the young central defender of Partizan Belgrade had been very close to wearing the Biancocelesti jersey, only to renew his contract until 2024 with the Serbian side. There had been talks of failed medical visitsmore than once – for cardiological problems but Sporting Director Igli Tare was quick to announce that the failed transfer was due to an absence of an official agreement with the Black-Whites. However, this incident has not held him back from commenting about Lazio; interviewed by Serbian TV channel TV Prva, the defender stated:

“Lazio? I’m taking my career game by game. I have a contract with Partizan for five years and I am satisfied with my current status at the club.”

Therefore, as it stands, the player seems happy to not rush a move away from his home country.
