Sassuolo vs Lazio: Prediction

This match takes place after Lazio won 4-2 in Rome against Lecce. It was a deserved result for the Biancocelesti who looked the stronger side for most of the match. Joaquin Correa and Ciro Immobile continue to lead the way up front with the Argentine scoring two goals while the Italian converted on a penalty kick. Francesco Acerbi continues to impress as well as the central defender delivered a clean pass to Sergej Milinkovic-Savic for his second goal of the year and one which the midfielder really needed in order to elevate his confidence.

As for the Neroverdi, they started their season winning two of their first three matches. However, they have been extremely poor and inconsistent since then with two wins, four losses, and one draw. In their recent match against Bologna, Jeremy Boga scored a great goal in an impressive individual effort to beat out Ibrahima Mbaye after a pinpoint accurate pass from Francesco Magnanelli which found the back of the net on a clear break to give Sassuolo three points.

Lazio is seven points behind Inter in third place while Sassuolo is one point behind Torino for 11th spot in the standings.

Prediction: Sassuolo 1-2 Lazio
