Parma host Lazio this Sunday as two in-form sides are set to meet for what both teams must consider an essential match. Parma head coach Roberto D’Aversa has spoken to the press, with quotes via La Lazio Siamo Noi, in which he praised the Biancocelesti and even went as far as to consider the club title contenders.
“We face a very strong team that on Wednesday, on an unlucky day and against a beautiful opponent, created a lot and hit the woodwork twice. Lazio, by structure of the squad and their skill level, can compete for the Scudetto.”
Then, speaking about Inzaghi himself, D’Aversa described him as:
“A winning young man. Bielsa’s missed arrival at Lazio gave him a hand, but he had deserved that bench for what he had done the previous season. He is a friend and I wish him the best.”
