Over 46,000 tickets have been sold for Lazio’s Sunday night league clash against Inter, according to a report from Italian radio station Radiosei earlier today.
The report details how 25 thousand tickets have been sold for the game on Sunday, with 21,600 season ticket holders also reserving seats. It’s not out of the realm of possibility that the Biancocelesti could see over 60 thousand fans in the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday, considering the importance of the game against the Nerazzurri in the title race.
The Milanese club have already sold 5000 tickets, the report continues, with the total sales estimated to be around 10 thousand by the time of the game. The Curva Nord is sold out already, with a few seats left in the Distinti Nord.
Lazio are currently third in the league after 23 games, sitting only one point behind league leaders Inter. The Nerazzurri are tied on points with rivals Juventus, whose defeat to Hellas Verona last weekend opened up the title race further.
