Prediction
This match takes place after Lazio won 1-0 against Parma in Emilia-Romagna. It was a hard-fought win for the Biancocelesti and one of their stronger performances thus far this season. The club managed to win without key players Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Stefan Radu and Senad Lulic as suspensions were being served while Lulic picked up an injury. Simone Inzaghi’s side is in terrific form; they are unbeaten in their last eighteen matches. Felipe Caicedo scored his 8th goal this season which led to the game-winner. The Ecuadorian continues to impress for Lazio, as he’s scored four goals in three of their last five matches. The striker has also contributed two game-winners in the past three Serie A matches.
In Inter’s recent match against AC Milan, Ante Rebic and Zlatan Ibrahimovic opened the scoring for Rossoneri in the first half. Although leading in the match, Inter followed up with a strong second half after a poor performance in the first half. Less than ten minutes into the half, Marcelo Brozovic cut the Rossoneri’s lead to one goal. Matias Vecino, Stefan De Vrij and Romelu Lukaku each scored afterward to help the Nerazzurri come back and win 4-2. Inter started their Serie A season winning their first six Serie A matches. The club hasn’t slowed down this season as their last loss dates back to Sunday, October 6th, when they lost 2-1 against Juventus. The club currently has shown good form as well as they are unbeaten in their last 16 Serie A matches. The last time these two clubs met back in September at the Giuseppe Meazza, Inter won 1-0 off a goal from Danilo D’Ambrosio.
Prediction: Lazio 2-1 Inter
