Alessandro Moggi, the agent of Lazio forward Ciro Immobile, has spoken to Radio Kiss Kiss about the reported interest of fellow Serie A outfit Napoli in the Italian forward.
“I’ve already talked about this last time, and the same is still true. He has a contract until 2023; if there was someone who is actually interested, they will have to knock on the door of Lazio, in addition to that of the player himself.”
“It is too premature to talk about transfers right now; we need to understand the current scenario (With COVID-19) and think of football as a social phenomenon, as well as a company with workers. We must also think about social relevance. And we are not just talking about Serie A, which, if it starts again, will have the opportunity to find resources, despite facing a significant crisis. But let’s think about the minor leagues, amateur football. There is a huge problem to solve.”
“What will the next transfer market look like? It seems that the desire is to keep the main players’ squads largely unchanged and to trade, without putting economic resources into the market. This is the idea at the moment. We have to wait the restart and see what the negative effects have been.”
