According to what has been reported by Italian Lazio fan radio station Radiosei, club president Claudio Lotito delivered a video conference call to the squad and some select members of the coaching staff yesterday, where he attempted to rouse spirits as the world optimistically looks towards the restart of Serie A in the near future. Reportedly, Lotito told the players and Inzaghi:
“Let’s be ready for when you can start again, the center of Formello has been sanitized, it is a safe place. We are ready and waiting.”
Currently, Serie A training is set to resume on the 4th of May, with matches resuming by the 30th of May and the season completed by the start of August, leaving a month or so in preparation for the 2020/21 season.
