Due to the impacts that Coronavirus is having on the world, amongst other things, the Formula 1 races cannot take place. For the reason, the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) has decided to organize virtual races with real F1 drivers, eSport professionals, and other celebrities.
This weekend, F1 fan and Lazio and Italy international Ciro Immobile will also take part in the initiative; this will be in the Formula 1 Chinese Virtual Grand Prix Series, where together with the New Zealand racing driver Liam Lawson, he will drive for the Scuderia AlphaTauri. In addition, Real Madrid’s Thibaut Courtois will also be participating. He will join F1 driver Alex Albon for Red Bull Racing. The Race will be streamed on Sunday, April 19th, 2020 at 19:00 (CEST) on the Formula 1 YouTube Channel and the Formula 1 Twitch Channel.
