Italian sports outlet Sky Sport have published a ranking of the top assist men for Italian forward Ciro Immobile throughout his career and the result may come as somewhat surprising.
Given that Luis Alberto has not only been a club leader of assists in recent seasons but in Serie A on the whole, many might expect the Spaniard to have provided the most for Lazio’s star striker.
However, the outlet have revealed that it is, in fact, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic who ranks highest, having provided 12 assists for the forward.
Luis Alberto does, however, rank in second place, having provided nine assists, whilst fellow Lazio favorite Senad Lulic rounds off the top three with eight assists.
Felipe Anderson and Felipe Caicedo come in fourth and fifth respectively, having provided seven and five assists for Immobile.
Next, Marco Parolo, Jordan Lukaku, and Joaquin Correa are tied with Omar El Kaddouri, Lorenzo Insigne, and Damiano Zanon with four assists.
Finally, Stefan Radu, Keita Balde, Antonio Candreva, Matteo Darmian, and Emmanuel Cascione are tied on three assists for the prolific Italian striker.
