Milan Badelj Wanted by Lokomotiv Moscow

According to what has been reported by CalcioMercatoRussian Premier League club Lokomotiv Moscow are interested in signing Lazio midfielder Milan Badelj.

After a poor first season with Lazio, the Biancocelesti made the decision to send Badelj out on loan, with his former club Fiorentina paying a fee of €700,000 for the season, whilst also contributing to the Croatian’s wages. Whilst the Viola have an option to purchase Badelj permanently, it is currently unlikely that the Florence side will take up this option.

Badelj has played 19 games for Fiorentina this season and has shown many of the same talents that made him a top target for the Biancocelesti in the summer of 2018. However, Badelj has had a varied career and at 31-years-old, will surely start to make decisions for his future; leaving Lazio likely to be one he needs to make.

Therefore, as Badelj’s future at Lazio seems to be under threat, Lokomotiv have entered the race in order to pick up the Croatian on a possible bargain this summer.
