According to La Lazio Siamo Noi, Lazio Primavera defender Luca Falbo is set to sign a professional contract with the Biancocelesti. An agreement has already been reached; a meeting will occur between his agent and club representatives in the upcoming days to finalize the details of the deal.
Born in 2000, the youngster joined Lazio from Roma in the summer of 2017. Impressing in the youth ranks since then, Simone Inzaghi took note of his talent this season; as a result, he allowed the player to make his debut for the first team in the UEFA Europa League against Ligue 1 side Rennes (12/12/2019).
While Falbo has spent most of the 2019/20 season with the club’s Primavera side, due to the new rules being implemented with regards to substitutions and each team’s squad size (due to COVID-19), Inzaghi has decided to keep him with the first team until the end of the 2019/20 season.
Primarily deployed as a left wing-back, Falbo has made 19 appearances in all competitions (Primavera 1 and Coppa Primavera) where he has scored two goals and provided four assists.
