Through a message on their official website, S.S. Lazio have announced that they have joined the ‘We Run Together’ initiative; a charity fundraising auction that started on June 8, 2020, and runs until August 8, 2020.
The initiative was organized by Athletica Vaticana (the Vatican’s first sports association), Fiamme Gialle (the sports section of the Italian police force), the Courtyard of the Gentiles (a Vatican platform for open dialogue on faith and culture), and Fidal-Lazio (the Italian federation for light athletics) to provide support for medical personnel in hospitals in the northern cities of Brescia and Bergamo (who were particularly hard-hit by the COVID-19 pandemic).
Hosted by charitystars.com (a fundraising campaign website), in joining the ‘We Run Together’ initiative, Lazio has offered an autographed Ciro Immobile shirt for the auction; the highest bidder will also be provided with two tickets for a Lazio home match (following the auction)
