As it stands, the Biancocelesti have already found an agreement over personal terms with the footballer (five-year contract with an annual salary of €1.5 million).

While it was originally reported that Lazio President Claudio Lotito presented an offer to the Gialloblu that included €18 millionCristiano Lombardi, and one of Fabio Maistro or Wallace, this seemed to be incorrect. The Biancocelesti actually offered €20 million and one player, which Radiosei has now confirmed to be 20-year-old Brazilian attacker André Anderson.

As Anderson is valued at €7-8 million, thus bringing the total value of Lazio’s offer to €27-28 million, many had thought that Hellas Verona President Maurizio Setti would accept the deal. However, as he values Kumbulla at €30 million – and is keen on not moving from that amount – he declined; if Lotito wishes to see the Albanian defender transfer to Rome this summer, an additional €2-3 million must be offered to convince Setti.

Contacts between the two clubs continue to occur; Lazio hopes to close the deal soon to prevent him from joining any other Italian side.
