According to Spanish sports outlet La Colina de Nervión, Lazio have made an offer to Sevilla for Argentine attacker Franco Vázquez.

Vázquez joined the Spanish La Liga side from Palermo in the summer of 2016. Since then, he has 170 appearances, scored 25 goals, and provided 19 assists in all competitions. However, with his contract set to expire in the summer of 2021 – and as both the player and the club are ready to move on – his future seems further and further away from the club.

For this reason, the Biancocelesti are trying to take advantage of this situation and sign the experienced 31-year-old this summer, who has stated time and time again that he would be interested in returning to Italy and Serie A.

As several Spanish news outlets have reported over the past week, Lazio are already said to have an agreement in place with Sevilla over the transfer fee; €8 million plus bonuses to take the offer to a fee around €9 million. All that is left to be solved is the length and salary that Vázquez will receive.
