According to Italian news outlet Grosseto Sport, Serie C side U.S. Grosseto 1912 are interested in signing Lazio youngster Sergio Kalaj on loan for the 2020/21 season.
The current 20-year-old central defender was acquired by the Biancocelesti from Savio Calcio in the summer of 2017. Since then, he has played for the Lazio Primavera (U19) team for three seasons.
This 2019/20 season, Kalaj made 19 total appearances (between the Campionato Primavera 1 and Coppa Primavera) under Manager Leonardo Menichini. The Biancocelesti were in twelfth place (with a record of 7W-3D-9L and 24 points) before the season was suspended due to COVID-19.
