2020/21 Serie A: Important Dates Announced

As announced on Lega Serie A’s official website, the 2020/21 Serie A will start on September 19, 2020 and end on May 23, 2021.

The League Council met on August 3, 2020 at 19:00. During the meeting, it unanimously determined that the 2020/2021 Serie A will start on the weekend of 19-20 September and end on May 23, 2020. This official decision confirms the preference already expressed by the majority of the clubs in a meeting dedicated to this matter.

Calcio e Finanza further adds that the Christmas break will run from December 23, 2020 to January 3, 2021, while there will be six-midweek rounds (including the match to be played on January 6, 2021).
