Jackson Porozo: Lazio Interested in Ecuadorian Youngster

According to Calciomercato, Lazio are interested in current Santos FC – but soon to be free agent as of August 8, 2020 – central defender Jackson Gabriel Porozo Vernaza, simply referred to as Jackson Porozo.

The 20-year-old, who has already been capped for the Ecuador national team (at the age of 19 years 01 month 07 days), played for the youth sides of LDU Quito, Manta FC, CD Sandino, and Independiente del Valle’s youth sides before deciding to join Manta’s senior team in January 2017; after just a year and a half, he transferred to Santos for a fee of €350 thousand, where he has since remained. However, due to European interest, Porozo looks set to move on once again.

As further reported by the Italian news outlet, Ajax, Real Valladolid, Club Brugge, and Sevilla (in addition to the Biancocelesti) have contacted the player’s Agency (MMK SOCCER). As a result, Daniel Manouchehri, the Founder and Owner of the Agency, spoke about Porozo’s future.

It is true that many clubs in Europe have asked us for information about Porozo, but we prefer not to disclose any negotiations.

We will analyze all the offers and then we will make a decision; without a doubt, there will soon be important news for the youngster.
