According to La Lazio Siamo Noi, Lazio are interested in the possibility of signing Torino central defender Armando Izzo.
This news comes to light following reports that the Granata have put the 28-year-old Italian on the market, as newly hired manager Marco Giampaolo considers him inessential in his plans.
However, it is important to note that President Urbano Cairo is only willing to part ways with Izzo if his €20-25 million evaluation is met. As it stands – in addition to the Biancocelesti – Roma, Atalanta, and Inter are interested in signing the defender, but none of the aforementioned parties have made an official offer.
Izzo joined Torino from Genoa (for ~€10.5 million) in 2018. His current deal with the Granata expires on 30.06.2024; since joining the club, he has made 76 appearances in all competitions (Serie A, Coppa Italia, UEFA Europa League Qualifying).
