According to El Periodico de Aragon, Lazio are seriously interested in signing Real Zaragoza starlet Luis Carbonell. The 17-year-old Spanish striker, who has also been contacted by Barcelona and Roma, is considered one of the next biggest talents of football (due to his pace, mobility, technique, and eye for goal).
As a result, the Biancocelesti have reportedly made an offer to Los Maños for Carbonell in the form of a one-year loan (for a fee of €100,000), that also included a buyout clause set at €1 million (which could be activated at the end of his loan spell). While Zaragoza have declined this proposal, this has not stopped Lazio from pursuing the striker. They are said to be preparing a second offer for Carbonell, which will hopefully be enough to convince the Spanish side.
After the success experienced thus far with Raúl Moro, one can understand why the Biancocelesti are keen on signing Carbonell. The youngster – who was signed from FC Barcelona in 2019 – has since adapted to life in Italy and impressed enough in Rome to train with the first team on a regular basis.
